Low-Fat Pesto

Pesto is a great addition to pasta, or as an appetizer that can be served on crackers. This recipe makes enough pesto for about 400g of pasta.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

0.75 cupbasil leaves (packed)
0.25 cupchicken broth
2 largegarlic gloves
2 tablespoonolive oil
0.5 cupparmesan cheese
2 tablespoonpine nuts

Directions:

Step 1
Put everything in a food processor.
Step 2
"Blend" it until it is of an even consistency.
Step 3
Pour into jars, or put directly onto cooked pasta.
