Dark Chocolate Layer Cake

A delicious chocolate cake with a strong taste of chocolate. It goes well with any icing. It can also be made into cupcake. Delicious!

0.5 teaspoonbaking soda
3 tablespoonbutter
0.5 cupcocoa
2 eggs
1.125 cupmilk
3 tablespoonoil
1 pinchsalt
1.25 cupsugar
2 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 cupwhite flour
0.25 cupwhole wheat flour
6 tablespoonyogurt


Directions:

Step 1
In a mixer, beat the butter, oil, and yogurt until well blended and smooth. Add sugar and beat until fluffy (3-5 min). Add eggs one at a time, beating for 1 min after each.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa.
Step 3
Combine the milk and vanilla.
Step 4
Set the mixer to low and add the dry mixture and milk mixture a bit at a time, alternating between each. Make sure everything is well blended.
Step 5
If making a layered cake, pour the batter into two separate cake pans. Bake for about 30 min or until cooked through at 350 degrees F. Let it cool for 10 minutes then layer and cover with your favorite icing.
