Nothing beats the cheesy texture of the orzo. It's similar to rice, but it's really soft small pieces of pasta.Servings: 2-3

Melt the butter/oil in a saucepan. Add orzo and cook 3 minutes.
Stir in broth and water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until liquid is absorbed and orzo is done (approx. 15 minutes)
Remove from heat, stir in cheese, basil, and pepper.
Slized Almonds - Add variation to grocery list
This adds a bit of a nutty flavour.
Directions:Toast the sliced almonds in a toaster oven and then sprinkle them on top of the orzo to serve.
