Red Lentil Soup

2 cupchicken broth / water
0.25 teaspooncoriander
1 cupcrushed tomatoes
1.5 teaspooncumin
1 cupred lentils
0.25 teaspoonsalt
0.5 teaspoonturmeric


Directions:

Mix everything together in a pot on the stove. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 15 min or until the lentils are soft.
 

Notes:

You can add more or less water depending on how thick you want the soup to be.

Variations:

Thicker - Add variation to grocery list

Replace the crushed tomatoes with tomato paste
