Salmon Cakes From: Julie, Quebec, Canada Servings: 2 * 1 [7-ounce / 199-mL] can salmon * 1 egg * 10 soda crackers, crushed * Salt and pepper, to taste * 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] thyme * 1 tablespoon [15 mL] finely minced onion * 1 tablespoon [15 g] butter * Drain salmon. * Into a bowl, mix together drained salmon, egg, soda crackers crumbs, salt and pepper, thyme and minced onion. * Shape into cakes. * Brown into melted butter, for 5 minutes on each side.
