These pierogies were awful. I've heard good things about this recipe, but I just couldn't get it to work! These were some of the worst pierogies I've had. Be warned!Servings: 6

Start boiling some potatoes. Fry the onion in a pan with some butter
Fry bacon, and crumble into bits.
Mix the flour, water, and egg into a dough
Roll the dough out, and use a glass to create round "disks" of dough
Mash the potatoes and mix in some butter, milk, bacon, and other spices.
Take a disk of dough, roll it out more, and place a lump of potato mix in the middle.
Use a bit of water around the edge to make a good seal. (Make sure the seal is good, or else you will have a big mess later!)
Boil the pierogies for a few minutes, then let them dry.
Fry the boiled pierogies in some butter.
Notes:Two hints I've received: 1. use warm water in the dough 2. roll the dough very thin
